Summer is quickly coming to a close and those afternoons spent outside, grilling and enjoying the sunshine will be far and in between too. I know that Labor Day Weekend is the unofficial start of summer and lots of people have cookouts and barbecues to have that last hurrah before school starts. If school is already in then you have a long weekend, so celebrate anyway!
I have a Broccoli Salad that will make a great dish to serve to your guests or to bring to a cookout that you may be attending. With a few simple ingredients, you will have a crowd pleaser that is really easy to make. So let’s get this last hurrah of summer started!
This salad can be eaten right away, but the longer it sits the better the flavors meld together.
Even though I am looking forward to the school year, I am not quite ready for the laid back schedule of summer. What do you normally do to celebrate the end of the summer? Is it a cookout? Last minute vacation? Let me know your favorite thing to do to end summer with a bang or what dish is your favorite to bring to a cookout!
