I love a good cheesecake especially when it melts in your mouth. This Cherry Cheesecake recipe is really simple and would be a great addition to any after meal dessert or sweet tooth craving. With only a few ingredients and a cost that is not outrageous you can make your own Cherry Cheesecake. If you are like me, you love cheesecake but hate paying this outrageous bakery prices for it. Now you don’t have to!
Cherry Cheesecake Recipe
1-1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/3 cup butter
4 pkg. cream cheese (8 ounces)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Cherry pie filling
Preheat oven 325 degrees
Mix graham cracker crumbs with sugar and melted butter.
Press cracker mixture into bottom of a spring form pan.
In a mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until lumps are gone.
Add in eggs, one egg at a time. Beat well between eggs.
Pour into the spring form pan, over crumbs base.
Bake 55 minutes or until the center of the cheesecake is set.
Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes.
Run knife around the edge of pan to loosen crust from sides.
Release the spring form and cool completely.
Refrigerate cheesecake for 4 hours.
Before serving spread cherry pie filling over the cheese cake.
